Course summary

The course develops the skills of listening, reading, speaking, writing, and translating in the context of the countries where the language is spoken. We use the target language to discuss everyday issues. In addition to the study of the language and grammar, students also study literary texts and films and complete an individual research topic in their second year of study. This course is suited to students who already have a good GCSE in the language they wish to study. Students study the AQA French/German A Level two-year course.
