Level 2 Programme

Course summary

The Level 2 programme has been developed to provide students, who might not usually be able to access Sixth Form, with the opportunity to gain valuable qualifications and develop essential skills required for the world of work. This is a one-year course that aims to improve on Level 2 achievement and develop the skills necessary for employment or further education. The programme of study always includes English and Mathematics GCSE resits, and in the past study opportunities have also included: Level 2 BTEC Technical in IT Support Level 2 Extended Project Qualification. Resit GCSE English Language and Mathematics Please note, any student who has not achieved at least a grade 4 in GCSE English Language and/or Mathematics will be required to continue studying these subjects in the Sixth Form and attend all timetabled lessons for these subjects.
