The course helps you develop a theoretical and practical understanding of the role of economics in our world. Economists study microeconomics and macroeconomics. Being heavily related to current affairs, which are forever evolving and revolving, Economics is a subject that will interest those with a natural curiosity for understanding more about, and continually questioning what is happening in the world in which we live.
In addition to general entry requirements, at least a Grade 6 in Maths and English Language or Literature, though Grade 7 is preferable given the demands of the course. If studied GCSE Business or Economics we would expect at least a Grade 6.
Three written papers at the end of Year 13
