You will learn skills to enable you to choose and control what your computer does for you. You will be able to solve problems and carry out investigations in aspects of computer science that interest you.
In addition to general entry requirements, at least a Grade 7 in Maths and at least a Grade 7 in Computer Science if taken. You will also need a keen interest in technology, programming, mathematics and computers and it is strongly recommended that you take A Level Maths alongside this qualification if thinking of a career in Computer Science.
