Course Description Do you aspire to work in the world of business? Are you the next Elon Musk or Kylie Jenner? Our Business BTEC Extended Diploma course will help get you started, giving you the foundation of knowledge and skills to go directly into the world of employment, on to a business-related university degree and a professional career in this ever-changing sector, or setting up your own enterprise. This Level 3 business course will enable you to gain a strong grounding in general business management, studying subjects including pitching your business or idea, decision making and retail. You will then be able to specialise in a particular area of business, such as marketing, human resources or finance. Throughout the course you will undertake practical assessments and develop a wealth of transferable, high-level skills that both higher education institutions and employers are looking for. Although often seen as a vocational pathway to work, BTECs are accepted across 95% of UK Universities. In 2022 83% of S6C BTEC Business Extended Diploma accessed universities such as Exeter, Cardiff, UWE, Bournemouth, Royal Holloway, Bath Spa and Solent. In 2023 we expect at least 70% to follow the same pathway with the addition of Reading, Leicester, Hull, Aston and De Montford to the university options for our students as well as a degree apprenticeship with JP Morgan.
