This is an amazing course which helps you directly enter the Esports industry but also allows you to progress to university to continue your studies in esports or a related field. The Extended Diploma is the equivalent of studying three full A Levels so this is a full programme of study. The course is a combination of video game development, esports coaching and business and marketing. You will complete the following units: * Intro to Esports * Esports Skills, Strategies and Analysis * Enterprise and Entrepreneurship in the Esports Industry * Health, Wellbeing and Fitness for Esports Players * Esports Events * Games Design * Video Production * Social Media * Shoutcasting * Esports Coaching * Launching Your Esports Enterprise As part of the course you will compete within British Esports Association and their various tournaments. This will see you and your team compete with colleges and universities from across the country. It helps if you are familiar with esports games but this is not a requirement, however a willingness to become engaged in the industry is essential. Global esports revenue for 2020 will grow to over $1.2bn and this is a year-on-year growth of 16%. Esports is big business. And it’s not going anywhere. This course will help you navigate a career within the industry or help you progress to university to either study esports or subjects like marketing, video game development, computer programming, sports management and coaching and so much more.
