The exciting linear Maths A Level specification is centered on problem solving, proof, reasoning and mathematical modelling. The Maths A Level course is fast-paced and it is necessary for young mathematicians to work independently to hone their skills. Students will be assessed after every topic and at the end of each half term. One of the overarching themes in the new specification is making concrete links between the different areas of Maths - pure, statistics and mechanics - and developing an understanding of how to model real-life problems using mathematical concepts.
