Course summary
The Edexcel Level 3 BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma in Health and Social Care consists of three core units, and three or four optional units that provide for a combined total of 60 Credits for the completed qualification. This is the equivalent to one A level (A* to E). Please note that there is no compensation for the core units. Core units consist of: Developing Effective Communication in Health and Social Care/ Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health and Social Care/ Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care. Optional units consist of: Development through the Life Stages/ Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Social Care/ Sociological Perspectives for Health and Social Care/ Psychological Perspectives for Health and Social Care/ Exploring Personal and Professional Development in Health and Social Care.
