GCSE Grade 5 or above in English
Year 1 - Two internally set and marked assessments on ‘Play and Learning’ based on your work experience One written examination testing Children’s development – this may be delayed if it is felt that you are not ready Year 2 - One external board set and marked task on ‘Development of children’s communication, Literacy and numeracy skills’ – this will involve 6 hours of time including a 3 hour planning session and a 3 hour exam. Three internally set and marked assessments on ‘Keeping children safe” based on your work experience and an assessed “emergency situation” response.
