Product Design
Course summary
During the two year course, you will study a range of materials. You will develop a technical understanding of how products function and how they are made to appropriately support the design and manufacture of your own design solutions. You will learn about wider design principles and the affect of design on users and the world we live in.

As published by the school
GCSE Grade 6 or above in Product Design, Engineering or Control Technology. As the new courses have a greater requirement for maths and science we would recommend that students at least a GCSE Grade 6 or above in these subjects.
