Studying Media provides students with both practical skills in the field of digital media and analytical skills. This course will prepare students for higher education in arts based subjects as well as specific media and film based jobs. This course has been developed to give students the opportunity to gain an understanding of employment opportunities, job requirements and working practices in the media sector. It will also enable students to start building the technical skills and knowledge relevant to an industry (or industries) in the media sector. Furthermore, it will develop the critical thinking skills that are applicable in other work situations or other qualifications
