Course summary

study of crime, deviance and the criminal justice system which will develop your understanding of the key concepts, theories and principles of criminology and their application across a range of case studies and examples. The course covers a variety of topics such as: policing and regulation of public order, how the criminal justice system works. The relationship between crime and punishment is also looked at.
