
There are three sections within this diverse and engaging course: A – Applied Anatomy and Physiology & Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics B – Skill Acquisition & Sport Psychology C – Sport and Society & Technology in Sport What it can lead to A qualification in Sport can open many doors, with employers recognising increasingly the importance of health and well-being. Those of you wishing to stay within the sports industry, a course in A-Level PE can lead to coaching roles, teaching, physiotherapy biomechanics, sports science, personal training, or a whole host of leadership roles.
Although not essential, it will be greatly advantageous to have studied PE at GCSE, where you will have achieved at least a Grade 6. You will also need to have obtained a Grade 6 or above in GCSE Science.
