Across the 2 years of the A-Level course you will cover: Biological molecules Cells Organisms exchange substances with their environment Genetic information, variation and relationships between organisms Energy transfers in and between organisms Organisms respond to change in their external and internal environments Genetics, populations, evolution and ecosystems The control of gene expression You will also carry out a number of practical exercises which will be recorded. Questions based on aspects of these set ‘Practical’ will be assessed in the written exam papers. What it can lead to Medical research, doctor, clinical molecular geneticist, nature conservation officer, pharmacologist, research scientist, vet, secondary school teacher, marine biologist, or dentist.
