Course summary

Physics is the study of the physical world, attempting to explain how it behaves. It is also a science which has a certain logical, sometimes mathematical, approach to problems. Physics is enlightening and rewards hard work. We will look at fascinating and wide ranging ideas from subatomic particles to stars and galaxies.

Entry requirements

Grade 6 or above GCSE in Physics (Triple Science) or grade 6-6 or above in GCSE Combined Science. All applicants must also achieve grade 7 or above in GCSE Mathematics.

How you'll be assessed

3 2-hour examinations, each worth 33%
