Course summary

Spanish A-level offers a two year course which develops the knowledge and skills acquired at GCSE and promotes further independent study. The course is designed to: • Give an insight into the life and culture of Spanish-speaking countries. • Encourage confident and effective communication in the language. • Enable development of interest in and enthusiasm for, language learning. • Allow acquisition of knowledge, skills and understanding for practical use, for further study and/or for employment.
