Film Studies

Course summary

Studying film provides you the opportunity to analyse and deconstruct a wide range of cinema. You will learn about a variety of films eras. In your second year you will also look at a range of film movements, such as silent film and experimental film as well as two foreign language films. Once you’ve learnt the key elements we hand it over to you. You get a chance to create your own short film or screen play for a narrative of your own choice.
