Health and Social Care - Vocational (equivalent to 2 A-Levels)

Course summary

The course is designed to provide students with a specialist work-related qualification in health and social care that is recognised by employers and universities. This course allows students to develop a wide-ranging theoretical education whilst also gaining valuable work experience in this demanding field. Furthermore, an essential part of the course looks at the growth and development of individuals and factors that can affect that. We will also be exploring how individuals with additional needs are supported within a health and social care setting. Can be taken alongside Applied Science for students wishing to go onto Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy, Midwifery and the Ambulance Service.
