
Fine Art AQA Entry requirements: Grade 6 in Fine Art A level art is space for scholars to push the boundaries of their creativity, through the exploration of an extensive range of materials and technical skills. Scholars will be exposed to a range of artists and craft makers and begin to understand the cultural, political historical relevance of art. Scholars will learn how to use visual language to express their perspective and create final outcomes. Who is this suitable for? · You love to explore materials and push the boundaries through exploration. · You love to develop your artistic practice, through research of artists and craft makers. · Good presentation skills. · The ability to reflect and refine on your work throughout the journey. What will I be studying? • Contextual studies • Observational drawing through a range of materials such as chalk, oil pastels, • Painting – water colour, acrylic and oil paints • Print making • 3 dimensional materials What subjects go with Art? Component 2 externally set task, where students will realise their intentions based upon a chosen title. Followed by a 15 hour exam where students create a final outcome.
