Pure Mathematics – Proof, Algebra and functions, Coordinate geometry in the (x, y) plane, Sequences and series, Trigonometry, Exponentials and logarithms, Differentiation, Integration, Numerical methods. Statistics and mechanics – Statistical sampling, Data presentation and interpretation, Probability, Statistical distribution, Statistical hypothesis testing, Quantities and units in mechanics, Kinematics, Forces and Newton’s laws, Moments. What subjects go with Mathematics? Scholars often also study Physics, Economics, Computing, Chemistry and Biology. Where could it lead me? Scholars can go onto study any of the following courses at university: Mathematics, any Engineering or science related course, Business, Economics or Computing courses.
