
This course has been designed for students who wish to go on to higher education courses or employment where knowledge of Computing would be beneficial. One can study Computer Science and go on to a career in medicine, law, business, politics or any type of science. The course is not about learning to use tools or just training in a programming language. Instead the emphasis is on computational thinking which is an important life skill.
English Grade - 5 Mathematics Grade - 6 At least 5 GCSE grades 4-9, have a minimum of a grade 4 in GSCE Computer Science
Students will be assessed through a number of examinations that will occur during their final year of studies. This will include everything they have learned during the two years of Sixth Form. These will be marked externally.
