BTEC Business (Level 3)

Course summary

This substantial vocational qualification provides a broad and deep understanding of business knowledge and skills to support progress to Higher Education and is suitable for learning alongside other Level 3 qualifications, i.e. A Levels and/or other Level 3 vocational qualifications (such as Accounting, Sociology, Psychology, Languages, Health and Social Care, etc). This qualification will also prepare students to take up employment in business and entrepreneurship, either directly after achieving the qualification or via Higher Education at university or college. We’ll take you under the skin of business and prepare you to be a successful professional. You’ll learn about the key ingredients for business success, innovation and enterprise, and discover how to build creative marketing campaigns, analyse profitability, and manage successful events. You'll discover how businesses across the globe adapt to the continual changes around them in order to remain successful. You’ll also hone the professional skills employers look for including communication, problem solving, teamwork, time-management and the power of a positive outlook.
