The Cambridge Technical in Sport and Physical Activity has been developed to meet the changing needs of the sector, and prepare students for the challenges they’ll face in university or employment. Designed in collaboration with experts spanning the breadth of the sector, the Cambridge Technical in Sport and Physical Activity focuses on the knowledge, understanding and skills that today’s universities and employers demand. Students will practically apply their knowledge and skills in preparation for further study or the workplace. Our Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Sport and Physical Activity has been designed as the perfect vocational alternative to A Level Physical Education. Made up of five units, this qualification provides students with the knowledge and skills required for progression – making sure they’re prepared to progress to degree level, an apprenticeship or employment. Please note that this course may contain insufficient science content to support progression to degree programmes in Sports Science, Sports Therapy or Sports Physiotherapy. Students are advised to follow a level 3 course in Applied Science alongside this course if they wish to pursue these or similar courses at university. In all cases, we strongly advise students to consult admissions information for their preferred university programmes.
