Course summary

A challenging but fascinating course for committed and very able mathematicians with a deep interest in the subject for its own sake. You must study A Level Mathematics, and two other subjects alongside this course. Studying this qualification can give you a “head start” on degrees with high mathematical content. Further Mathematics both builds on and broadens the range of ideas met on the Maths A Level, for example, topics like differential equations and functions are extended, whilst completely new branches, such as complex numbers and matrices, widen your knowledge of this vast subject.
