Law impacts on every part of our life and studying A Level Law introduces you to both Criminal and Civil Law and the skills needed to answer legal problems. You will cover some of the philosophical ideas that underpin our legal system and explore the relationship between law and justice and morality. We are a very successful course and many of our students are inspired to go on to legal Apprenticeships or to study Law at degree level including at universities like Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Manchester and Bristol.
As a minimum, you will need (or equivalent to); GCSE Mathematics grade 4 GCSE English Language or Literature grade 4 plus three more GCSEs at grade 4.
There are three, 2 hour exams: Paper 1: English Legal System and Criminal Law Paper 2: English Legal System and Tort Law Paper 3: English Legal System and Contract Law.
