
This vocational course embeds practical work which is exciting, engaging and relevant to the current subject industry. The course allows you to grow as an actor and theatre maker. You will practically study a range or practitioners and set works which will in turn inspire you to create your own theatre. The course includes an element of coursework which is based on industry briefs, you will learn skills that you will use again and again in the world of Performing Arts. Assessment is based on practical work and coursework - there are no unseen exams.
As a minimum, you will need (or equivalent to); GCSE Mathematics grade 4 GCSE English Language or Literature grade 4 plus three more GCSEs at grade 4.
You will be assessed via performances and coursework completed under timed conditions, 60% of units are assessed externally and 40% of units are assessed internally.
