Whether you are concerned about the economic implications of the Pandemic or climate change; the study or Economics is becoming increasingly important as we consider the impact of our choices have. This course is developed with up to date content so you can relate what you are learning to the world around you, whether it be locally, nationally or globally. Through studying Economics at Huish you will develop a wide range of skills, including the ability to analyse data and make critical, informed decisions.
As a minimum, you will need (or equivalent to); GCSE Mathematics grade 4 GCSE English Language or Literature grade 4 plus three more GCSEs at grade 4. It is recommended you have: GCSE Mathematics grade 5 or above.
There are three written exams, each are two hours in duration. Each paper includes data response and essay questions.
