Course summary
Psychology requires the application of critical thinking and mathematical skills when analysing scientific experiments designed to understand psychological disorders, the human mind and behaviour. It provides a fascinating look into what lies behind acts of aggression, development of schizophrenia, depression and phobias. You will be given an introduction to a variety of Psychological approaches; the study of social interactions, internal thought processes, experiences in childhood, the role of evolution and how these might influence our behavioural habits. From criminology to counseling this course is a must for those interested in why we as humans behave the way we do. Some of the courses our students go on to study include; Medicine, Neuroscience, Teaching and Physiotherapy.
