An A Level in French will help you to develop your understanding and fluency in the language alongside your knowledge of teh cultures, societies and history of French-speaking countries. A wide range of resourses and made available to you such as Kerboodle, TV5 du monde and the opportunity to speak one on one with a native French speaker each week, which will get you speaking fluently in no time at all. As a minimum, you will need (or equivalent to); GCSE Mathematics grade 4 GCSE English Language or Literature grade 4 GCSE French grade 5* plus two more GCSEs at grade 4. *If you have not studied GCSE French you will need to be a competent speaker and must have five GCSEs (including Maths and English) at grade 4.
There are three exams: Paper 1 – Listening, reading and writing Paper 2 – Writing Paper 3 – Oral exam.
