Equivalent to 3 A Levels, the T Level in Management and Administration provides you with the theoretical and practical skills thrive in the world of management. The course aims to blend your theoretical understanding of issues such as business context, organisational cultures and values, project and change management, business behaviours and quality and compliance, with the experience of working in industry. You will understand how businesses operate and will have the opportunity to put your knowledge into practice on your industry placement. In the classroom, you will focus on the importance of maintaining and improving quality in both public and private sector organisations, the need for good communication and adapting communication styles as well as looking at management theories and models. The T Level is split into three main sections: Technical Qualification - the main, class-based element. Industry Placement - you must complete a minimum of 315 hours overall - this will give you a practical insight into the sector and the opportunity to embed the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom. English, maths and digital - this will be built into the course, giving students a solid foundation of transferable skills.
