Course summary
BurntwoodSixth Form offers a comprehensive programme for young aspiring musicians who are looking to enhance their practical skill levels as well as their compositional abilities and general musical understanding. There is an exceptionally well equipped department and a range of dynamic, highly skilled teachers who cover a wide range of specialisms. A variety of excellent ensembles perform regularly throughout the year with the school chamber choir earning substantial national recognition for its outstanding performances. All A Level students are expected to contribute to extracurricular musical activities and perform regularly throughout the 2 year course. Mac composition suites, an extensive range of rehearsal rooms and outstanding instrumental stocks support the learning across the department.
