A Computer Science A Level is valued by universities and employers and gives students an appropriate foundation for further study in many areas. Technology is being used to solve problems across various industries such as health care, engineering, transportation and banking, but finding solutions to these problems requires people with computer science expertise as well as knowledge of the given industry.
A Level Computer Science students should have achieved a Grade 6 in GCSE Computer Science. This will demonstrate the foundational knowledge of Computer Science that is required for you to success in A Level Computer Science. We would strongly recommend that you have achieved a GCSE Grade 7 in Mathematics.
