Mandarin Chinese is widely regarded as the language of the future and is spoken by over one billion people around the world. Mandarin not only opens the door to one of the world’s oldest and richest continuous cultures, but it also offers you an edge when competing for an important position in the business world. China has become the second-largest economic power in the world. Business leaders are looking for people who can speak Chinese and operate successfully in a Chinese cultural context. Mandarin builds on pupils’ existing Mandarin knowledge and equips them with all-round skills to operate in a Chinese environment.
