Physical Education A Level brings together a fascinating range of topics, including Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Sports Psychology, Sociology, History and Technology. A large number of Physical Education students go to university to study degrees in Teaching, Sports Science, Physiotherapy, Medicine and Dentistry. To be highly successful in this subject, it is desirable that you train and compete to club standard as a player or coach. There will also be weekly training sessions available from the start of the course to develop your skills. This course is both practical and academic and requires commitment to both elements.
2 written examinations each weighted 35% Non-exam assessment 30% of the qualification.
