GCE A Level Spanish - AQA Exam Board The topics studied are much more advanced than at GCSE and enable you to communicate with people from Spanish speaking countries about issues that really matter to you. At GCSE, the focus was very much on you and your day-to-day experiences. At A level, the focus shifts to considering worldwide issues and being able to discuss these in depth. You will enjoy learning a variety of topics ranging from Spanish societies and cultures to issues relating to young people today. You will also have the opportunity to study a Spanish film and book. The course encourages you to become an independent and outward-looking thinker and to develop your understanding of other cultures, beliefs and political systems which prepare you well for further studies at university.
