Course summary

Psychology is about understanding people and their behaviour. The subject requires you to look at a topic from a number of viewpoints; the causes of our behaviour are up for debate ad there are many theories to consider. The most exciting thing about the subject matter is that it can help you understand your own behaviour and that of those around you. You will explore: Social influence; Memory; Attachment; Psychopathology; Approaches in Psychology; Biopsychology; Research methods; Issues and debates in psychology; Gender; Schizophrenia and Aggression.
