Course summary
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Music Technology is designed for learners who wish to pursue a vocationally relevant qualification in the music technology sector. Learners are given the opportunity to gain understanding and practical skills in a variety of areas including studio recording, digital audio workstation tools (using Logic Pro X) and mixing and mastering techniques. There are opportunities to work with professional musicians and professional sound engineers. There are two pathways available: BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Sound Engineering and Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Digital Music Production.
