This A-Level Physics course covers a range of traditional and modern physics topics. Students’ analysis and problem-solving skills are developed throughout the course including a clear focus on practical skills. The topics covered are: Measurements and their errors, Further mechanics and thermal physics, Particles and radiation, Fields and their consequences, Waves, Nuclear physics, Mechanics and materials, Electricity. Plus an optional topic at A-Level (one of: astrophysics; medical physics; engineering physics; ‘turning points’; or electronics). This A-level is suitable for those who are thinking of doing further education in areas such as Architecture, Automotive Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and many more.
