Cambridge Technical Business Level 3 Diploma This is a vocational qualification equivalent to two A-Levels with a combination of exam and coursework units in which students will learn to apply their skills, knowledge and understanding through tasks and activities that are relevant to business. This will also help prepare students to continue their education in this sector or to progress into business-related apprenticeships. Assessment overview: 40% Externally assessed. 60% Internally assessed. Students must achieve a total of 10 units. The units are graded Pass, Merit and Distinction with the following graded at PP, PM, MM, MD, DD, DD*, D*D*. CAREERS Students with an A-Level Business Diploma, combined with other A-level subjects go on to a variety of higher education studies and careers within diverse Business and Finance fields. Some students may take a completely different field of study or work. The diploma requires the student to be very organised, to be a team player and to think critically – all skills that are needed in any working environment. It is always advised that students take up the opportunities to use the careers’ resources offered by EBS to gain further insights into any professions and further studies that they may be interested in.
