Further mathematics provides a chance for you to meet brand new mathematical concepts beyond the scope of the normal A-Level syllabus. It is both challenging and extremely interesting and serves as a perfect starting point for all those interested in pursuing Mathematics beyond Key Stage 5 What will you learn? Further Mathematics at AS and A level is divided similarly to the standard Mathematics A Level - Core and Applied. These are described on the Mathematics page. However Core Mathematics is replaced with Further Pure Mathematics and in the applied category there is also the option of Decision mathematics.
