The Pearson specification allows us to study a selection of exciting, canonical texts from the Renaissance to the present day, taking in Shakespeare, modern drama and dystopian fiction. English Literature, an academic subject held in high regard by prestigious universities, is an excellent complement to a wide range of further education and career paths. It is perfectly suited to any career where communication or people skills are a key requirement, beyond the more obvious examples of law, the media and journalism.
