Course summary

Why take the course? French is spoken by 300 million people across the world and so this A Level will open up travel and work opportunities. French is both a working language and an official language of the United Nations, the European Union, UNESCO, NATO, the International Olympic Committee, the International Red Cross and international courts. Studying French to A Level standard gives you an advantage in the international job market. It provides you with insights into French history and culture, helps you understand other cultures and is a good base for learning other languages.
