This course centres on different ways of reading and the connections that exist between texts within a literary genre. In this way, students gain a solid understanding of how texts can be connected and how they can be interpreted in multiple ways. AS level Units: Unit 1: Literary Genres Unit 2: Aspects of Comedy
Students require a minimum of 5 GCSE at Grade 6 or above (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
Exam - you will be expected to sit the AS Level exam at the end of Year 12 and A Level at end of Year 13. At AS Level: Unit 1: 1hr 30min written exam Unit 2: 1hr 30min open book written exam.
