The course introduces students to high level IT topics, including those related to web, multimedia and gaming technology, as well as software and network engineering. Students are also able to develop their knowledge and understanding of working in the IT industry and the impact of IT on society. It is equivalent to 1 A Level
Students require a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
Assessment is on going throughout the two years and includes externally assessed exams, assignments, presentations and other portfolio based evidence.
