Learners take components 01, 02 and 03 to be awarded the Edexcel A Level in French. Component 01: Comprehension / Written paper / Total marks: 100 - 2 hours 30 mins Listening, Reading: Writing and into English: (50%) Component 02: Writing about film / written paper / total marks: 80 - 2 hours Writing in French, Translation into French (20%) Component 03: Speaking / Total marks: 60 - 21-23 minutes + 5 min preparation time Discussion of stimulus card: 25 marks, Research project: 35 marks (30%)
