Course summary

Government and Politics enable students to develop an insight into political beliefs, central to an understanding of the modern world. It is the study of government, institutions and the law-making methods which control the world we live in. Students will explore concepts such as equality, democracy, and justice. In the current world, government changes have altered the political map, making Government and Politics an interesting and relevant subject to study. Students learn how political systems operate and consider the efficacy. You will also study the processes around voting systems and the nature of political parties and elections.
