Is this course for me? BTEC is a vocational course, you must have a genuine interest in H&SC, and a positive attitude to new experiences. You should also be prepared to meet deadlines, accept guidance, and develop independent study skills. The course is challenging, but very rewarding, and is excellent preparation for employment or university. What will I learn? Learning about the basics of care and the practical side of maintaining good relationships with others will provide you with useful experiences, transferable skills and abilities.
