What will I learn? • You will continue to expand your vocabulary, and you will have to commit to reading extensively around your subject to build on this. Furthermore, you will build upon your existing knowledge of grammar, thus deepening your understanding of French / Spanish, as well as English. • You will explore many topics which tie in with other subjects, such as history, geography, art, literature, science and sociology. Additionally you will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural, social and historical context of the Target Language Country • Websites, video-conferencing, online games, and emailing students in other countries will all be used throughout the course to enhance your language-learning experience. • You will be assessed in four key skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing (including analysis of literature and film)
GCSE grade 6 or above in Spanish, French or Portuguese and grade 5 in English Language.
