Is this course for me? Yes, if you enjoy PE as a Subject both practically and the theory behind Sport. If you are thinking of working within the Sports Industry, then this is obviously a good choice. You will understand the benefits of leading a healthy and active lifestyle, along with playing, participating and learning more sports. It is helpful but not essential if you have already completed the Level 2 Diploma or the Level 2 Extended Certificate in Sport. What will I learn? Students will have a greater understanding of the human body, the systems, muscle groups and how they all fit together and function. Students will have the knowledge of the Sports industry, potential jobs within the industry and how to go about working within the Sports industry. Students will gain knowledge of the positive health benefits that leading a healthy lifestyle can bring.. What could this course lead to? The Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport will give you a solid foundation in the sector, enabling you to develop essential skills required for gaining employment, securing career progression, or progressing to further qualifications and training required to achieve your goals.
