Course summary
Many students combine languages as a Joint Honours or take it a Minor Degree with another subject, allowing them to maintain their interest in languages and increase employment opportunities. Former German students have combined languages at university level with degrees as varied as Engineering, Graphic Design and Politics. The course comprises 70% external assessment of Reading, Writing and Listening skills and 30% Speaking Assessment. Topics studied include: society, artistic culture, multiculturalism and political life in the German speaking world.
